The first inter-school sports challenge of the Fusion Trail marks a key milestone in the programme’s journey. Gathered at Stade Charléty, in the heart of Paris’s 13th arrondissement, students from European Business School, Ferrières Hospitality & Luxury Management School and École 89 shared a powerful collective experience, driven by commitment, connection and personal challenge.

Hosted within the PUC, a major player in Parisian and regional sporting life, the event brought students together around several disciplines, including basketball, running, long jump and team-based challenges. These activities created a shared space for engagement, beyond academic backgrounds and institutional boundaries.

Far more than a sporting event, this half-day fully embodied the Fusion Trail philosophy: learning through experience and action. Through sport, students explored key values essential to both personal growth and professional development: teamwork, commitment, collective intelligence and resilience.

The challenge is fully aligned with the Fusion Trail: Sports & Arts programme, jointly developed by the three schools. Its ambition is to combine expertise, break down silos and provide students with a shared foundation of transversal skills, while supporting the development of individual specialisations.

Speeches by Louis-Félix Communeau and Sébastien Chantelot highlighted the central role of sport within the Fusion Trail. A true pedagogical pillar, sport enables students to release energy, connect with others, refocus and build strong, lasting relationships.

In line with Audace 6.0, the GA Education Group’s strategic vision, this first edition reflects an experiential approach to learning, where skills are developed through real-life situations, collaboration and action.

The event concluded with a convivial moment around pizzas, extending conversations and strengthening bonds in a warm and authentic atmosphere.

This first inter-school sports challenge is a collective success and paves the way for future transversal initiatives combining sport, arts, business and innovation. One thing is certain: the Fusion Trail journey has only just begun.
