Erine Collignon is a second-year Bachelor of Arts student at Ferrières Hospitality & Luxury Management School. She is currently working as a management assistant trainee at the prestigious Paxton Paris Marne-la-Vallée. She talks about her career and her work at the school.
A successful integration
Her integration went off without a hitch, thanks to the warm welcome she received from the Paxton Paris Marne-la-Vallée teams. From that moment on, she was able to discover the various departments, particularly the events coordination department. In her role, she is responsible for preparing seminars, welcoming customers and ensuring that events run smoothly. She has also taken on the role of Guest Relations, which involves looking after individual customers during their stay. In this role, she is responsible for receiving guests and ensuring that everything goes perfectly from the moment they arrive until they leave.
A varied and rewarding job
One of Erine’s main tasks is to prepare the guests’ stay beforehand. This includes writing personalised notes and solving complaints in a variety of situations. The main aim is to create an unforgettable experience and leave a lasting memory of their stay at the Paxton Paris Marne-la-Vallée.
An emotional moment
One of Erine’s most memorable moments was preparing a room for newlyweds. Tasked with giving them the best room possible, she made sure to decorate it with rose petals and write them a special message expressing her best wishes for their union. It was a very gratifying gesture for her, as it marked this special occasion in a unique way.
A passion for hospitality
Erine has learnt a lot during her internship and is eager to continue gaining experience and meeting new customers to feed her passion for human interaction. She is looking forward to meeting the customers of Paxton Paris Marne-la-Vallée.
