Admission process

Students who are interested in joining Ferrières, are kindly asked to register and provide the following documents: Curriculum Vitae, a passport copy, the last three school transcripts and a motivation letter. Candidates are then invited for a personal motivation interview, online or face-o-face, with members from the admissions team. Here the required language proficiency level will be tested too. If all admission requirements are met, the candidate will receive a letter of admission within 14 days.

Housing

Students are responsible for finding their own housing. Student Service however are happy to assist you with this process. On the Campus of Ferrières itself, you will find a variety of accommodation solutions, ranging from shared to individual apartments, all within walking distance of the school buildings. The neighbouring villages of Ferrières-en-Brie and Busy-St-Georges also offer many housing solutions. Please contact / click here for help.

Guaranteed Employability & Career Services

Thanks to the personal guidance students receive, as well as PAP (Professional Acceleration Program) and the mutual trust of our many partners in the world of hospitality, food & beverage and luxury retail, Ferrières Hospitality & Luxury Management School is confident to guarantee employment if students comply with all the academic requirements, assignments, and responsibilities. An important component for this is the Career Summit, when many of our partners come to our campus to meet the students and offer different professional opportunities, ranging from internships to apprenticeship or full-time job offers. This event is held twice a year at the castle of Ferrières. The ability to stay and work in France is susceptible to the diplomatic ties between France and the country of residence of each student.

Scholarships

Ferrières Hospitality & Luxury Management always strives to seek and form the very best students who share our vision and values of excellence, regardless of their background. Therefore, candidates who have been accepted to Ferrières, can apply for a scholarship that is offered by our Endowment Fund. The scholarship is merit-based, and the following criteria are taken into consideration: academic excellence, personal and professional motivation, financial situation, and time of application. Languages

While the main campus is located in the Paris region, and our satellite campus in Barcelona, the programs of IBBA, Parcours Grande Ecole and MSc are fully conducted in English. A good command of English is therefore required and will be tested during the motivation interview. The following proficiency test is required:

As students will be living in France and possibly Spain, they will have the opportunity to enhance their understanding of these languages, thanks to language courses, as well as the interactions with fellow students and colleagues at the hotels, stores, and restaurants. Understanding these languages already will be very beneficial.

Student Visa

International student must check beforehand whether they require a student visa or other international identity number for France or Spain. Our Student Service will help with visa application and will tell exactly which documents are required and how to obtain these. Please contact Student services here.

Healthcare

Students need to have sufficient health insurance by law when residing in France and/or Spain. They need to check if their home insurance is valid or if they need to take out additional insurance, in order to be properly covered. International student from the EU, EEA or Switzerland can apply for a European Health Insurance Card. However, an EHIC card only covers essential medical care. Our Student Service will help you with the process after your arrival on our Campus.

The four-star hotel Paxton Marne-la-Vallee is right located on campus and is the ideal location when visiting Ferrières Hospitality & Luxury Management School. Accessibility & Transportation

Ferrières Hospitality & Luxury Management School is located halfway between the city of Paris and Disneyland Paris. The school lies in the charming village of Ferrières-en-Brie and lies next to the city of Busy-Saint-Georges, which is serviced by the RER fast metro-line to Paris (35 minutes). A bus brings our students to our Campus from the Bussy Saint Georges train station. The two main Paris airports of Charles de Gaulle and Orly are around 40 minutes away by car.

Shopping, dining & leisure

Besides the various restaurants and entertainment venues on campus, including bowling, Italian cuisine, French gourmet cuisine and bakery, Valle d’ Europe, one of Europe’s biggest shopping malls and Le Vallée Village luxury shopping outlet, are only one RER metro stop away.
