MSc International Leadership & Innovation: Develop Unique Expertise in Hospitality<\/strong><\/h4>

The MSc International Leadership & Innovation is open to candidates from all academic backgrounds, even without prior experience in the hospitality sector. Here are the application requirements:<\/p>

  • Validation of 180 ECTS<\/strong>: You must have validated at least 180 ECTS credits before applying.<\/li>
  • Professional Experience<\/strong>: Complete a professional period of 4 to 6 months in the hospitality industry (internship, fixed-term contract) before the academic year begins. This professional period will provide you with the necessary foundations and help you speak the same language as your future peers, facilitating your progress from the first semester.<\/li> <\/ul>

    The purpose of this professional placement is to ensure that all Masters students are fluent in the same terminology and concepts, thus facilitating their progress from the first semester onwards.<\/p>

    First Semester: Management Fundamentals<\/em><\/p>

    The first semester immerses you in the fundamentals of general management, essential regardless of your specialization in the second semester. You will develop essential skills in humanities and professional expertise in hospitality, catering, and luxury, applied through the management of a product or concept development project internationally.<\/p>

    MSc2: Consolidation and Expertise<\/em><\/p>

    The MSc2 autumn and spring semesters are dedicated to consolidating knowledge and applying acquired skills. You will deepen your expertise in your major through concrete projects such as:<\/p>

      The International hospitality leadership & sustainable development curriculum is a cross-disciplinary specialization in which students are actively involved in project work concerning strategy, marketing, communication and business operations. This option covers all major aspects of the luxury hospitality industry, including luxury entrepreneurship and innovation. It ensures the implementation of a creative guest experience (globalized, local, personalized). Graduates in luxury hotel management can move on to careers in international hotel management as well as in the service-oriented luxury retail sector.<\/p> <\/div><\/div>

      REVENUE MANAGEMENT & DISTRIBUTION <\/strong><\/h4>

      In addition to cross-curricular modules, students learn business scenarios in the classroom and gain a solid foundation in advanced data management, digital marketing, distribution, pricing, and performance optimization.<\/p> <\/div><\/div>

      TEACHING METHODS AND TOOLS<\/h2>

      The Ferri\u00e8res Training Experience combines 4 main teaching methods:<\/p>

      • PROFESSIONALISING EDUCATION, which allows students to acquire technological, scientific and technical knowledge taught during the course to reach a given level of expertise through interactive courses.<\/li>
      • APPLIED EDUCATION (also known as P.A.P. for the Program for Professional Acceleration) which allows students to put the knowledge they\u2019ve acquired into practice and to understand the professional challenges facing companies in the hospitality sector. This approach also contributes to personal development both in terms of maturity and in terms of professional orientation (fields of specialization, companies, professions, geographical regions, etc.).<\/li>
      • INDUCTIVE TEACHING through participation in regular and one-time events (trade fairs, networking events, masterclasses, competitions, visits, internships, etc.).<\/li>
      • INDIVIDUALISED SUPPORT for students in terms of personal development, further studies, professional goals, and employability.<\/li> <\/ul>

        ASSESSMENT METHODS<\/h2>

        Each course is assessed both by Continuous Assessment (CA) and by a Final Examination (FE). All the assessments for each course lead to a CA mark which counts for 60% and an FE mark which counts for 40%.<\/p>

        • Continuous assessment work varies depending on the course, examples include: participation scores, multiple choice quizzes, individual or group presentations, etc.<\/li>
